“Live Fast Die Young” is a film noirish juvenile delinquent crime movie made by Universal Pictures in 1958. This film was part of a “teens run wild” film genre popular & unique to 1950s. This film’s plot features 2 sisters who run away from home & school. It features an untamed youth who quits school, leaves home, & hits the big city for a life of petty crime, eventually falling in with a rough gang of jewel thieves, who plan to knock over a post office receiving a package having 150K in diamonds. The film’s infamous tagline was "a sin-steeped story of the rise of the Beat Generation.” The film co-starred Troy Donahue and Mike Connors (later star of TV hit “Mannix”).
